Put a supercharger on it. Get more bang for the bucks. Magnacharger, Edelbrock and other companies have bolt on kits for your Camaro that include everything needed for installation.

Should be no issue running an oiled filter. Over the years I have run them(K&N) in two of the Camaros I used to own and no problems. The RotoFab intake in my ZL1 has an oiled filter and it good to go.
