Car Ramps for oil changes
Any suggestions about what car ramps work for the ZL1?, need about
5-6” lift to perform an oil change, but most of the ramps I’ve seen Are not long enough, or high enough, and don’t clear the front splitter. |

I found another thread where someone recommended these ramps.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1 So far they have worked out great for the few oil changes I have done. The splitter does touch be just barely.

No need for race ramps @ $469...lol
Basic rhino ramps and 18-24" length of a 2X10 will be all you need. |

Two piece Race Ramps are the way to go. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for. I use mine to change the oil in all my vehicles.

But once the car is up on them, it's super nice to remove the ramp sections to make moving around under it easier, and the height is great for things like oil changes.

They also make a 72” long set that lifts your car 8” vs 10”. It’s slightly narrower however it’s two piece and should easily work with any Camaro without ever rubbing.
https://www.discountramps.com/rr-72-2/p/RR-72-2/ They offer an additional 15% off as well. Around $385 shipped (Thanks Drnick for the site!) |

I made me some handy dandy 12" wooden ramps with detachable stands when lumber would have been $25. 10x that now.

I bought a set of Race Ramps from Summit Racing that I use for my ZL1. They are the extended versions though. They work just fine for me.

I purchased a set of Race Ramp extenders for my 67 inch two piece Race Ramps. Those work great for the ZL1 to reduce the angle to keep the lower spoiler fromrubbingat all.
