Finally got one!

Hey everyone! After years of waiting, saving, and searching I finally got into a 6th gen! I can’t believe how good these cars are from the factory. By far the best handling car I’ve ever driven. Spec: 2019 zl1 tr6060 1 owner 19k miles. I have some bmr rear suspension parts on the way (I do want to take it to the drag strip) but I’m leaving the power stock for a while. I know the auto is faster but I love the 6 speed. Looking forward to getting some more seat time when the weather gets nicer in Oregon. One question though- the factory alcantara wheel is matted down and has a little wear had anyone swapped a leather 2ss wheel in? I prefer the oem wheel not an aftermarket carbon fiber or leather wheel.

Beautiful car and looks fantastic in Satin Steel Metallic!

Throw some Diode Dynamics Smoked LED Side Markers on there and it'll really look sharp! Maybe even the clear ones might look cool since the color is so light...

A little Sonax alcantara cleaner or even a little dish detergent amd water on a microfiber cloth should help with the steering wheel.

Lots of folks buying carbon fiber wheels and selling OEM in the classifieds, I replaced mine with a 2SS leather wheel years ago, the emblem can be swapped. Congrats on the car.

Here's my before and after using just Sonax Alcantara cleaner with a few cheapo low-pile microfiber towels: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...39&postcount=7

Thanks to all who replied
I’m going to try some alcantara cleaner first as others have suggested but when you swapped your wheel did you have to change anything else? I see some (2ss) have forward collision assist and some don’t but my current wheel does have it.
