FollowMyLine has a very detailed video on how to replace it. I was able to replace it without removing the whole center console or lifting the rear seat. Details in that thread.

I ordered the parts from Gm Car Parts Online at https://parts.jakesweeneychevrolet.com/. They had the best price when I was looking.

To each their own, but it amazes me that people would pay to downgrade their interior. Do you need this tiny bit of extra storage, or is it that your phones are too large for the wireless charging pad?

Even the latest Samsung Galaxy S25 fits on it after trimming the short edge rubber bumps a tiny bit, and the upgraded (2019) charging module is decent, it can put ~15-20% of charge back into my phone (S23) per hour, even while I'm using wireless Android Auto.

Now if someone has a tablet or a giant phone, that's not going to fit, but even then a passenger could use the pad for their phone. Potential future buyers would be surprised to find the 1SS cubby in a 2SS, too.

I've kept my wireless charger but eventually I am looking to remove the whole rear small piece and try 3D scanning it. I have 0 experience with 3D modeling but feel like a good scan with even an iPhone with LiDAR and a little changing of the plastic itself could accomodate larger phones. I know on the Apple side, Pro Max will not fit in the OEM config at all. It's a glorified AirPods charger as is for me lol

I use it the same way, except to charge my Samsung Galaxy Buds.

The phone is too big. So for 21.72 + tax/shipping I converted some useless space into usable space. I also saved all the original parts for anything I have replaced. So whenever I decide to sell the car, which hopefully won't be for a long time, the new owner can reinstall any original parts he wants.
