Wow, some impressive data collection some of you guys got. I love it!

I think I'll do the triple threat. Log in My Cheverolet, Excel sheet, and hard copies in a binder for more "backup" purposes.

I can guarantee my excel sheet and binder won't be as impressive Macias or Bumbleboys, though!

I wish Jersey was less strict with tint. These cars need it to tie in that sleek side profile.

Can't have any tint on windshield or front windows, so that just leaves the back window on our coupes

Same, in SoCal ALL of my cars have 35% tint on everything (except windshield), while "technically" illegal, because you can see in, as long as you aren't driving like an ass, they leave you alone...

I actually like 35% as it definitely changes the look of the car, but from inside, even with "old eyes" it doesn't restrict view hardly at all... 35% is definitely my "go to" tint level...

I concur, mine has 35% around and 50% on the windshield (which is essentially 35% as well because of the factory 70% spec).

This feels like the best tradeoff between visibility from the inside, heat and UV rejection and looks. Coincidentally It's also the legal limit here in TN, not that anyone I know in the neighborhood was ever pulled over for tint alone no matter the percentage.

At least you guys have limits lmao. It's one of those things where you can probably get away with it, but if they want you, they got you. Same with no front plate.

I kissed her goodbye. Been in 6th gens since 2017 and it was just time for a change. The ZL1 was an amazing ride, but decided to throw caution to the wind and jump into a poverty Ferrari; C8 Corvette Stingray. Might start some casual autocross with a coworker of mine too. It's also not white like my last 3 cars.

We'll see what GM does in a few years. If they bring something worthwhile back with a 7th gen and it's not a total pile of shit, I might jump back.

I have a prescription from my eye doc, so 5% all around for me. but it doesn't work for windshield, maybe your state has that too?
