Try using a heat gun to warm it up, then hit it with some aerosol canned adhesive remover, make sure you clean polish and wax afterwards though

it will auto set the interior temp based on the outside temp.. i think if it its over 82 degrees if i recall it will put air on full blast and anything under 40 degrees full heat and heated seats..
