For those that have sat in a Gen6 ZL1 - seating position?

I drove my first Gen6 2SS today. I loved everything about it, except for one thing that's a deal breaker for me.

The position I sit in is with seat tilted up so knees are higher than butt, and back is reclined. I can get into this position perfectly in the Gen5 ZL1, and in C6 and C7 vettes. But the Gen6 2SS - seat doesn't tilt up past horizontal, and the back doesn't recline anywhere near enough. I was really bummed.

Loved everything else about the car. Loved quality of materials, the steering wheel feel and position, the technology, the armrest, gauges. Was also a little hard going back to 460 hp from 580, but there were enough plusses I may have considered it, aside from the seating issue.

I Know the seats are different in the ZL1. Has anyone played around with the settings yet? Will the ZL1 have the same issues, or no?

Seat adjust the same for the most part.. i sat in a zl1 and drove a 2ss I couldn't tell any difference in the seat adjustments.. but its hard to compare a recaro to a regular seat if u ask me...

Funny that you mention that as there are many A8 6th gen SS's that are running faster times than A6 ZL1's.

Agree'd...although I'm sure going from a highway pull, the 5th gen ZL1 would pull on the 6th gen SS. But from a dig, the new SS doesn't give up much to the ZL1 in the 1/4 mile.

I'm like you, I like the seat all the way up in the front of it, and down in the back, then I lean the back rest back so I kind of lean like a 'cholo' lol

If I recall correctly, there seemed to be a good deal of seat incline adjustment...but I do not remember anything about seat-back recline limits. Some on here have expressed a concern that the seat didn't recline enough for them....I remember I didn't have any issues...but I like to sit more or less upright...habit formed from racing.
