Perhaps, if not tied with the Nissan GTR before the price hike.

It's all in the suspension calibration. The springs are stiffer, and the rest of the suspension has been adjusted for the performance of the car. Mag Ride uses the same hardware, the magnetorheological dampers, but the system settings are specially adjusted for the 1LE's setup.

The way the factory builds packaged cars, this just may have been logistical. Also, as far as equipment for a car intended to drive on the track...blind spot alert is pretty useless.

They are bigger rotors, and they are lighter, two-piece units...aluminum center hats, mechanically attached to iron disks.

Armrest isn't suede, but yes - it adds a nice feel to the interior.

Yes. You can have black.

That is why you don't buy a car the second they come out...

If it isn't, this makes no sense from a pricing strategy. It would basically heavily undermine any incentive for people to go out and buy a 1SS with MRC and NPP, and it could also pretty much kill the 2SS because it would then be perceived as a horrible value by comparison.
Yeah, not sure. But, the 1SS isn't quite $38K, with D&D it is just over $37K...so that puts the 1LE package at like $2750. Still, seems oddly low. Unless, they are just trying to make this car easier for the "masses" to be able to obtain, and make more say, "damn, why buy a 1SS when I can get the 1LE for a little more", which will actually make them more money overall. As for the possible gap to the 2SS, meh, yeah it would be there, but those buying 2SS's with all those do dads aren't the demographic with this car to want a 1LE? Just some ideas...

Did any of the extra bracing make it into the 1LE?

Even at $7000 for the 1LE package for a total of $44k MSRP... it'll be a damn good deal. Especially if you can order one at or near invoice so low 40s plus tax, title... I mean shit, that's A LOT of car for 40 coins. Anything less will just be icing on the cake.

The other option is that they are planning an unannounced price reduction across the board for 2017 due to slower than expected sales. How likely that is, I have no idea.

Doubtful...as sales have been brisk, when dealers actually have them. My dealer can't keep his in stock even at MRSP, and other dealers can't get more then one or two, even when they want more...which hurts sales. Plus, the 4 banger isn't out, neither is the convertible, and they haven't started fleet sales yet. No way will the price go down...

Yes. You can have black.
The brake rotors look like the same ones used on the ZL1 - 370mm and the same six piston calipers.

Will all the black seats have the white stripe insert?
