I can't understand how anyone who wants a performance car can complain about the visibility. I had the developer of the GT350 give me grief for the visibility out the back of my ZL1 at TWS at a Mustang Weekend Track event. I told him if you're fast enough you don't need to be looking in your rear view.

The visibility in a Jaguar F type is the same...I'm sure other performance cars are the same too. I could care less about rear visibility.

Here is what is kind of sad in a way lol. There are more posts at this time (by like 100 +) on their Camaro Reviews thread, than there are on this site for our thread.

Is that sad for us, or sad for them??????????? lol

Maybe the mods can set you guys up a "ThePill Fan Club" board so y'all quit cluttering up every legitimate thread on here with shit about him.
Call it entertainment. I don't have a profile over there but I still read/lurk other car forums and that includes the main competition. I see others do and I get a good laugh or a sense of Camaro love when they are over on the "other" side. They do give balance just like ones over here. The Pill just comes up every now and then cuz its like a inside joke on the forums.

Some exotics etc have absolutely no rear visibility. None.

I agree the rear visibility when looking to change lanes was sub par. Some claim it's only a problem if you are short... But I'm about 6ft so I don't know about that. I've never been called short before lol. I don't see how being above 6'2 would help at all...

Other than that I'm glad they lowered the dash line and the car is a lot lighter and faster. More responsive. Should be a lot more fun to drive than previous SS.

Look, for people who hate the visibility either get used to it (by adjusting mirrors correctly and learn to live with it) OR just don't buy the car AND continue being happy driving your Toyota.

Now, If you want a really cool looking, sinister looking and down right in your face attitude CAR, there has to be a trade-off or 2 (two).

Know what I mean?

I complain cuz it's bad and could have been improved. Choices were made.

Some of you guys seem like you actually wanted poor visibility and are happy it got worse or at best didn't improve.

And yes you can get used to it. I've had enough seat time to know. My only point is ........ We shouldn't have to get used to it.

Which of the six generations of Camaro do you think was the best coupe?

Why don't you just buy an ATS-V coupe? Based on our conversations, it seems that fits almost exactly what you want.

You don't want to get me started on how bad the visibility is in an ATS now do you

Tempted but our ATS sedan is really small compared to our SS. Maybe I'm getting old and the appeal of a full size car is taking over. Doh!

That and the $20k or so in price. Double Doh!

Before poo pooing the visibility of the 6th gen just wait till you get to sit in one and drive it, then if you dont think its improved then poo poo all over it...
Seems like Motortrend and Automobile magazines think its improved.

From Automobiles review,
"Sitting in the driver’s seat, no longer do you feel as though you’re peering through a welding mask’s narrow porthole. The new Camaro is conspicuously airy, with far better visibility to the front and corners; cowl height (where the windshield meets the hood) has dropped by almost 1.6 inches—a massive and long-needed improvement. "
