The visibility in a Jaguar F type is the same...I'm sure other performance cars are the same too. I could care less about rear visibility. |

Camaro love when they are over on the "other" side. They do give balance just like ones over here. The Pill just comes up every now and then cuz its like a inside joke on the forums.

Some exotics etc have absolutely no rear visibility. None.
I agree the rear visibility when looking to change lanes was sub par. Some claim it's only a problem if you are short... But I'm about 6ft so I don't know about that. I've never been called short before lol. I don't see how being above 6'2 would help at all... Other than that I'm glad they lowered the dash line and the car is a lot lighter and faster. More responsive. Should be a lot more fun to drive than previous SS. |

Look, for people who hate the visibility either get used to it (by adjusting mirrors correctly and learn to live with it) OR just don't buy the car AND continue being happy driving your Toyota.
Now, If you want a really cool looking, sinister looking and down right in your face attitude CAR, there has to be a trade-off or 2 (two). Know what I mean?

Some of you guys seem like you actually wanted poor visibility and are happy it got worse or at best didn't improve. And yes you can get used to it. I've had enough seat time to know. My only point is ........ We shouldn't have to get used to it.

![]() Tempted but our ATS sedan is really small compared to our SS. Maybe I'm getting old and the appeal of a full size car is taking over. Doh! That and the $20k or so in price. Double Doh!

Before poo pooing the visibility of the 6th gen just wait till you get to sit in one and drive it, then if you dont think its improved then poo poo all over it...
Seems like Motortrend and Automobile magazines think its improved. From Automobiles review, "Sitting in the driver’s seat, no longer do you feel as though you’re peering through a welding mask’s narrow porthole. The new Camaro is conspicuously airy, with far better visibility to the front and corners; cowl height (where the windshield meets the hood) has dropped by almost 1.6 inches—a massive and long-needed improvement. "
