at 2:15 she´s on throttle and paddle the upshift. It seems really quick for my taste, faster than the ZF in Mustang, ok its a bit old now.
She´s right in saying a hydraulic steering is the best you can have for feeling the road and what´s going on. And i know she´s a big Challenger fan which have that "old" fashioned and more expensive steering. I like Emme

I want to go to my Chevy dealer and drive this car NOW dammit! I am ready for the lease on the M235i to end (first and last BMW, so glad it was a lease).

I thought she worked for The Fast Lane Car? Unless yahoo auto just purchased the review or something.
Issues with the M235 or just not a good fit for what you need? |

Golf clubs. The old G6 convertible required the clubs go in the back seat with top down. I have hope, though.

Bit of both, really, and more.
1) after 6 months, the driver's side seat bolster already disintegrated (not cracked, but actually worn away). This being a lease, I took it right to the dealer to make sure it was notified, since I did not want to be dinged for "wear and tear". BMW fixed it under warranty (reupholstered the seat), but threatened that if it happened again, I would be on the hook for it. I railed against that, insisting that if it were to happen again while I possessed it, it would have to be a fault with the car, and if they threatened to stick me with the bill, I would get a lawyer and break the lease. They acquiesced after that (got it in writing). 2) I leased it because BMWs have horrible long term reliability, and frankly I'm over it, and want to buy a car and keep it for 20 years. 3) It drives beautifully, and this thing definitely makes more than 332 lb ft torque at the crank than advertised. The steering is wonderful, the ride is mostly compliant (it has problems with secondary damping), and the ZF 8-speed is brilliant. BUT... the exhaust soundtrack is synthesized through a speaker beneath the driver's seat, which sort of ruins the experience a bit. It gives the James May fizz while driving it hard, but not if you're only going 4-5/10ths. And through no fault of the car itself, it just satisfy my primal urges for a big EFF YOU V8. 4) When I got it, it was to be my only car (though my wife has a car for herself). This is where the M235i makes sense. It's a great all-purpose car. Quiet and comfortable and practical for day to day, but it can definitely wake you up and make you feel all tingly in the pants on a weekend B-road blast. But, since I got it, we found ourselves in the fortunate position to buy a proper, dedicated sports car, our Boxster. This makes the sporting pretensions of the Bimmer completely redundant, so I'd rather replace it with something totally on the different end of the spectrum (and this is why the SRT Challenger is so appealing, as it's a big 2+2 and more adept at cruising than probably any other pony/muscle car). Basically, in the last year I've scratched quite a few automotive itches, but the glaring one I want to scratch is that of an American V8 pony/muscle car.

But don't you think that statement above is a bit harsh? You've read the reviews right? I'm sure you have. Now tell us how this car is not one of, if not the best performing under 40K sports coupe you can buy? Visibility be damned. If my 35 thounsand dollar Mustang GTPP grants me better visiability, but I have more fun in the 37 thousand dollar 1SS, which car is a better sports coupe?? I drove around for years in my 2010 Camaro. I could ALWAYS see just fine doing normal driving. Passing...merging...it was never an issue when my mirors were set correctly. The only time I ever pulled onto a road while saying a prayer was at some screwy intersection where the cross road was at a 30 - 45 degree angle on my passenger side....I simply COULD NOT see what was coming. Ended up backing up, and pulling forward to get a better view. Reviewers that say visibility is bad aren't wrong. I'm not saying that, but the way some of them make it sound (you will die in this car eventually) is over the top.

This....another member here posted a concern about visibility just a week or two ago. He went and test drove a 5th gen Camaro. The verdict??? It wasn't a problem for him.

Number 3 likes to complain about the visibility a lot! If you adjust your mirrors and just get used to it, the 5th gen is not bad. Is it a mid size sedan? No haha.
