I was thinking the same thing, and won't do any further mods until I get proper tune. All I have now is a TM TB and a drop AEM dry filter.

0x7E8: P0113 - Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit High (Current, History)
0x7E8: P0121 - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance (Current, Old)
0x7E8: P10BC (SES, Pending, Current, Old, History)
0x7E8: P10E1 (SES, Pending, Old)
0x7E8: P2227 (Current, Old)

0x7E8: P257F (Pending, Current, Old, History)
0x7E8: U0121 - Lost Communication With Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module (Old)
0x7E8: U0140 - Lost Communication With Body Control Module (Pending)
0x7E8: U18A2 (SES, Current, Old)

I'm going jiggle the wire connection to the intake and TB since I disconnected and reconnected both then clear codes and see if anything pops up again.

EDIT: From the looks of all these codes it really looks like there was a short or something. Very odd.
If I recall, P0121 was the TB code.

EDIT EDIT: HAHAHAHAHA When I googled I found this !! It's an old post by me complaining about the same code with the TM TB !! hahaha

Thanks for following up on the update(s).

Let me share this with you about the codes. When I took my car to the dealership last month to have the TSB done (about the wiring harness rubbing on the sheet metal in the engine compartment) the tech plugged into the ODB port and told me that my car had like 10+ codes stored.

He suggested that it might have been from my car being jump started at some point. Also, my car had just come out of the body shop (like yours just did) and I’m failry certain that both of our cars had the battery or the leads under the hood disconnected during the repairs).

My point is, that might be were all of those codes on your car came from.

Anyway, keep us posted if the engine light comes back again.

Update - drove in to work this morning and suffered through about 8 miles of stop and go, bumper to bumper traffic on a hilly road. I would have been crying like a baby and cussing like a sailor prior to installing the TM TB. Not a single bog, stall, or hesitation. No CEL. Very happy with the ported TB!

Do you have a CAI installed as well? Or just the TB?

I've had my ported TB on for about 7K miles now and have had the EXACT same experience as this. I have a green filter as well.

You're absolutely right, that probably explains the other codes.

However just today during some hard driving, the CEL came on again and this time only the P0121 came back.

I may try getting a less aggressive one from Tony Mamo.

Some additional feedback -- The car IS actually pretty twitchy in Track mode.
I had done most of the driving on my trip in Touring mode, but today I tried Sport and Track and Sport was ok but still twitchy, Track was intolerably twitchy for me. Like bucking at low speed despite my easy caress of the throttle.

So a few weeks before Christmas I ended up ordering one of these from Tony and had the same issue as Aaron with the CEL and twitchy TB. I contacted Tony about it and at his expense he shipped me a slightly less aggressive version which completely resolved all issues. No more twitchy throttle and the CEL lights have been cleared and not returned.

Definitely driver improvements but I'm thinking I may go back to the stock TB just for peace of mind since my tuner has my A/F dialed into absolute perfection and even though the smoother off idle transition and all around improvements are noticeable with the Tony TB. I just decided I may not want to go through logging and re-tuning again not to mention I would need to pay my tuner for his time.

PM me if anyone is interested. I'll get around to posting it in the FS Section.

Thank you this is excellent feedback.

I think I will try the less aggressive TB since I'm not-tuned.

As an interesting side note, I stumbled upon a picture of a GT350 TB, and low and behold, it's exactly the same as the LT1/LT4! It's even sold as a upgrade from the 80mm TB that comes on the GT:

https://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-...516-gt350.html

I also found a few threads on mustang6g.com where someone has installed the GT350 TB on their GT and surprise, surprise, had drivability and throttle response issues. Lol!

The engineer who designed that TB should be canned.

Yeah because you know what the requirements were when designing it...

Surely, driveability/throttle response was a key design requirement. The overwhelming evidence in this case demonstrates that they failed to meet that design requirement. Having an abrupt step change in the ID of a pipe is in general considered bad practice. Again, the evidence bears that out.
