Malfunction Indicator Lamp followed by horrible braking and accelerating/reving

So this happened out of nowhere; only thing I can think of is from a horrible 3 hour drive with nothing but bumps and pot holes in the road. The Malfunction Indicator Lamp light in the dashboard turned on...next thing I know the car JUMPS back when put in reverse or jumps forward when put into drive, revs are all messed up, etc...

Now, I do have the AFM Disabler and the Throttle Controller both installed. Turning the vehicle off and back on does not solve the problem. I did solve it I think for the drive back turned the AFM disabler off. But the issue has resurfaced and so I took both devices out and seems to have gone away... We'll see how long it holds up..

Anyone experiencing this with or without the devices? My car hasn't been to the dealership so nothing has changed from the time I began using the devices, so I don't understand why all of the sudden there would now be a problem? Not sure which device may possibly be causing the issue if it is one of the devices, but I HATE the car the way it is stock without the devices!!! Literally night and day! My girls Kia accelerates better than the stock Camaro pedal; I need the devices!!

I think it was sledge that had problems with the throttle one and they replaced his pedal assembly only for him to find it was the device, not the pedal, that caused the issue. If you don't like afm, u can go into manual mode to disable it. It will come on once but downshift and it won't come back on again. As for pedal feel, I can't help you there other than to say just push ur foot down further quicker. I definitely believe those devices caused your issue. Disconnect the battery to reset your computer or clear codes if you have a scanner. I wouldn't go to a dealership yet as these issues are most likely caused by ur device modifications

Oh man that would happen to him too. Any idea what he ended up doing? Like still has it or got rid of it or contacted the vendor? Hope he chimes in.

And could I go in to manual mode then back to auto would AFM be disabled or would it reenable AFM automatically once back in automatic?

Makes me feel a little better knowing AFM disabler may not be the issue, especially since I get 3 more MPG without AFM then with it!!!

Just so confused how it completely through off the entire car. Literally never been in a car so wacked out before in my life when it was acting up. Really scares you seeing what happens when technology takes a complete turn on you. Maybe I should reach out to the vendor.

I think the most logical explanation is the road surface you were driving on effected the connections on the throttle controller device and or the disabler.

At this point I would reinstall, verify the connections, recalibrate and see what happens.
