You can remove the same sponge with the GM intake Lol. I removed the sponge lmao with no intake yet and it does help. I was contemplating between the two and am getting the GM intake. Warranty reasons.

2. One member's butt dyno claiming it lost power. He reverted back to stock.
3. One member's butt dyno claiming it's faster because it takes longer to get to redline which doesn't make sense because gears are fixed. Seems like he also lost power but who knows.

For now it sounds like something is wrong and I'd wait until it's cleared up.

The same amount of people claim they felt a major difference after receiving the tune.
So I guess it's just an opinion, I don't know

Neither one by itself will affect your warranty.

They are both quality parts.

Six of one, 1/2 a dozen of the other.
Well that's what I believed until now. I've never seen anyone act like they gained 50+Hp with a CAI until I've owned this generation of camaro. I'm not sure whether I would even notice a difference but everyone else seems to.

It's a placebo effect and we are all susceptible to it. Even if it was a 10whp gain you wouldn't even notice it at these power levels. A 2-3% increase in power feels 'healthier' and more responsive? I want it to work too but it' sounds like when someone claims it runs smoother after an oil change.

My car made roughly 20 more with the JLt intake than with the stock one. The after market intake I had was barley better than the stock one. The testing went 2 runs of each of the stock, the aftermarket one I had and then the JLT one. Jlt did much better. I am full bolt ons and tune. My tune wasn't changed for any of the runs.
My buddy has a stock car and the jlt did 18hp more than stock. (Still no tune)
A tune is needed to take full advantage of the jlt intake.
If you're worried about a warranty then don't touch your car, if you want to be faster, then do it right the first time.

I would be very interested to see what the Roto-fab CAI would do on your car! We have seen gains in the 17 hp range with mild bolt-ons!

I thought the JLT was not available yet?? Also what aftermarket intake did you have that had no gains?

Just spoke to Keith from JLT and he advised they should roll out about 3-4 weeks

JLT heat shield is ABS plastic and only keeps temps cool at idle and low speeds. What is the use for that? What a joke.
