You're gonna get opinions, not an answer...

What's the final answer if the GM one is wet or dry dock?

GM uses an oiled filter.

Mine sure appears to be dry.

The rubber part of the filter felt "greasy", but so do a lot of other new rubber parts when you take them out of the packaging.

To be fair, the GM intake comes with the MAF correction you need to make more power safely since the CAI design throws off the signal. We could use a dyno of the GM CAI with the OEM tune applied to know for sure what the delta is vs. rotofab when properly setup.

Now, it is important to also note that the Rotofab doesn't require this MAF correction at all but to be balanced, it also doesn't carry the GM warranty on it either.

That's true, there was an oily substance all over the rubber part, either way dry vs oiled dosent matter much imo.

Gm does not advertise any power gains.
So there isn't any.

Rotofab does.

Here are some dyno results comparing the Roto-fab CAI to the stock intake system. These results have come from a variety of tuners, from Texas, to Connecticut, to Korea!

From JDP Motorsports, Bone Stock vs. Roto-fab, Stock tune

From CNC Motors, Bone stock vs. Roto-fab, Stock tune

From SCT Performance, Bone stock vs. Roto-fab, Stock tune, AFR included below.

From Abdulisraddd, supporting mods: secondary cat delete. stock tune.

From EFI Tuning, PTB+Intake+Tune vs. PTB + Intake + Tune + Roto-fab, AFR included below.

From JRE, stock intake vs. Roto-fab CAI. Supporting mods unknown.

From ADM Performance, LT4 S/C vs. LT4 S/C with Roto-fab

From Davenport Motorsports, Heartbeat S/C vs. Heartbeat S/C with Roto-fab

Thanks for your interest everyone,
Michael

But I guess your CAI for the V6 doesn't make any additional power right? I mean GM doesn't advertise any power gain do they?

Not saying yours is not a good product, but I also believe the GM version works fine as well. No one has shown any definitive proof of which is "best".
