10 Speed auto is a $1595 option.

Performance pack is a $3995 option with magneride being $1695 on top of that.

$40785 for a performance pack GT with magneride doesn’t sound like too bad of a deal.
Configurator or ...?

Man the people on reddit cars are some funny people. Can't tell if they're trolling or serious. All they do is trash talk the Camaro there. Now one of them is claiming the Camaro is for 'mid life crisis' folk who want 'retro' styling ... you can't be serious man .... lmao
The general population on Reddit are as dumb as a bag of bricks. Each sub has their one main bias that they reside in as their comfort zone. Anything against it and they'll try to crucify you for challenging their safe space.

Yeah, the Camaro is certainly not popular and those who try to make it so get downvoted into oblivion.

I quit posting on /R in the Whiskey and Bourbon subs for similar reasons... It's best to read only, unless you're trolling.

They are indeed quite good at their job... Now, if only the ACs over on Slashdot would learn how to properly troll a forum vs just the same old tired racist replies and comments about everyone's a luddite.

Once a year someone mentions Slashdot, and once a year I ask with a sense of amazement, "Slashdot still exists?"

Just configured a GT Premium with the 10 speed auto, Performance Package, Magnetic Ride, Active Exhaust and Blind Spot Monitoring and it came out to $52,000. Ouch. These cars sure are getting expensive...

Exists.. Kinda... It's a cesspool honestly and I rarely ever comment and you really have to dig in the comments for anything useful.. I more so just read for the sense of "wow this has gone lawless"

Did they remove PTM from the 6th gens? Seriously, I don't see why they would get rid of that function, it seemed like a good system.

PTM is only on the ZL1 and 1LE and is more for the track than the strip.

I think it will do better than 12.6 Hell my buddies 12 GT auto ran a 12.70 bone stock I would hope with the improvements the 18 has it does better than that and I think it will. BUT it would have to be A10, PP and magneride probably. I don't think all A10 cars will be that quick.

I also had a response to constant belittling of the 350, but not worth cluttering up this thread anymore with that.

Secondly, I doubt Ford thinks it will lose many/any sales from GT350 to GTPP. Mostly for reasons in sure you (and to a small extent, I) don't/can't understand. Honestly, even even the GTPP is faster than the GT350 at the strip, I'd still rather have the Shelby. It has that certain automotive je ne sais quoi.

The beauty if it is, you don't have to understand. What causes someone to spend their hard earned on what they want doesn't require anyone else's understanding.
Yep, the 350 will still plod along fine, the engine name and just appeal of it will help it move.

While not bad prices, it definitely lost any real price advantage it had against Camaro. It will be really interesting to see sales when there is nothing but 18's out there. And I really hate Ford's packaging. There are hardly any standalone options. Almost everything is a package.

yeah thats on the steep side! I would never pay that much for a Mustang/Camaro/Challenger. Only if it was a special model, but not for the regular V8
