I ordered.

Got invoice. The dealer kicked one of their own orders out so I could get it sooner. No deposit, only a dealer license plate cover, no stickers.

Would do again!

Camaro Maybe,

I bought my 2011 Caddy CTS Coupe through a factory order and my brand new Camaro 2SS as well to get exactly what I want. The Caddy was through a local (Sacramento, Ca.) broker and the Camaro through Becky. If I paid any premium (I don't think I did) by going through the factory process, it was trivial relative to my enjoyment.

You will be pleased with the ordering process unless you "gotta have it now" or you obsess over, maybe, paying a few bucks more.

Bottom line: As indicated numerous times above, call Becky (734 479 7117...direct line). She did a great job in getting mine ordered exactly as I want and having it delivered to a Sacramento area dealer. It was a flawless process.

By the way, I worked with the local dealer that received my car & had it delivered to my driveway for an extra 50 bucks.

Anytime I can avoid the evils of entering a car dealership for $50, it is a very good day.

Thanks for the info. Definitely no on 'gotta have it now' in fact, don't want it now. I'm working in Kuwait until the end of August.

I realize that I could probably 'get a better deal' if I took what was on sale than nobody wanted but I'm willing to pay a little extra to get exactly configured exactly how I want it. If a dealer in Seattle or Portland had something close to what I want and it's on sale with a nice mark down, that would probably work as well but not seeing what I want yet on dealers lots.

I ordered mine locally. It seems like the default color for the interior around here for stock orders is black, and I wouldn't have a black interior in a car in Texas. Too hot. Every silver car I saw had black interior. I got exactly what I wanted and we used my wife's educator discount to get supplier pricing. The only problem I had with the process was that my car wasn't built until several weeks after the TPW. But I got it last August and we love it.

Go with Becky...

I live in Hawaii... And, Becky still managed to get exactly what I ordered delivered to me in perfect condition... So, if you know what you want, the decision is easy: BECKY

Hey man. Thank you for your service. Dont forget to use your GM military discount. It's the same as GM supplier pricing. Not great, but saves about $2200. Regarding car, I got exactly what I wanted when purchasing. I used my local dealer. We walked through each option and ensured I knew cost each step of the way. Dealer verified (military) discount was applied and I got an extra $1000 off through forum member giving me a code from a survey.

I think the kalahari/hyper blue is gorgeous, and would have bought nearly exactly what you are looking for....if it existed. I'm 6'5", so a 2SS with MRC, NPP, manual with no sunroof wasn't going to happen. I ordered a hyper blue SS 1LE with hood hash marks/illuminated sill plates, but haven't so much as gotten a target production week or any info yet.

OhI can second many here that if you know what you want and value a no BS business purchase experience you really need to contact Becky at Rodgers Chevrolet. It doesn't matter where you live, you can fly in to drive home or she will arrange to have a vetted local dealer take delivery and prep the car. I had a horrible experience with the local stealerships salespeople and had a hell of a time trying to get to a real sales manager (each had 5 or 6 with that title). Might save a few hundred ordering from a local dealer but unless you know them it's a game of chance on how well you will be taken care of, even if they have thousands of your dollars in a down payment.

I ordered my 2SS Hyper Blue with Kalahari interior, MRC and NPP from Becky last month and anticipating TPW 4/17. My last car was a dark blue Pearl with camel interior so I love the combo.

I'm 6'6" so slightly taller than you so is there an inch headroom to spare on the non sunroof edition for you and how much legroom do you have for the shift action on the 1LE? I had already discounted the idea of having a sunroof. I haven't yet sat in the 6th gen as I'm in Kuwait but I have watched Lethal Garage youtube videos and he's 6'5" and seems fine.
