Yeah that was the feeling I was getting read your guys posts. Maybe worth trying the Holiday Inn again but whatever doesn't matter as long as we are in town.

The hotels are literally a stones throw away from each other. That's why i gave up after 10 times at HI and just booked at Hilton.

It official! Got my room booked at the Hilton from 13th - 16th. Bought my pass for two day driver and beech road too! Now I gotta make sure I get some good 1/4 mile practice runs in before I show up

Absolutely, I check for the registration opening up daily and will update that thread when it happens... If you guys haven't seen it already I posted a highlights vid up a few weeks ago in that thread

Because I have this on my mind and I am too lazy to search for the answer; what are the rules for needing a helmet at the strip and autoX. Are there certain parameters your car has to exceed? I'd like to know sooner than later so I can purchase one (or two) if needed. Thanks guys

SA2010/SNELL2010 Approved helmet. I believe it's actually SA2005 but those helmets will only be good for another year or two. It's a general rule to have the helmet for safety purposes so it is required to race the strip or autox Open Face or Closed are both fine as long as the meet the SA/SNELL ratings for that year.

yes SA2015 is your best approach still many years left on it. Can't wait to meet you man and get some runs in against a fellow I4.

What helmet do you recommend for the "best bang for your buck." Ive been browsing for days and Ive seen ones for 800 and ive seen ones for 200.
