I was under the impression that the JMS pedal max also has some predictive logic in it that will make the TPS ramp quicker, so it's not just about a x=y TPS remap, but also a legitimately quicker response in the right situations. *For example throttle blip for downshifting
I know you don't have the Vitesse TC, but do you think the JMS is $100+ better? I've been looking into these but haven't pulled the trigger.

The reoccurring problem with the V brand is that overtime it generally causes a check engine light and reduced power mode.

No one has really reported if the JMS or Pedal Commander brand do the same thing... If they actually DO work, I'd say it's worth the extra money to some people.

I know some people have reported issues with the vitesse myself and 3 others in my local club that have used it never have had issues personally.

Same as everyone else said, I got it because the Vitesse has given other people issues with DTCs.

I guess I just don't understand the attraction to a gizmo that just sends throttle voltage faster. All you have to do is press the pedal harder and the same effect is achieved and you still have a couple hundo extra in your pocket!

Not everyone likes to pedal mash my suggestion is check out Lethalhammers youtube channel for an accurate review and description of what this does before buying both the JMS and VTC do the same thing.

Yes, so let's spend $200-$300 on a failure prone electronic box to do it instead of pushing the gas pedal harder. End sarcasm. These things are so pointless. I still can't find a single reason to consider this product. It doesn't even make the car any faster!

Your opinion, your entitled to it. The failure prone ones were almost 95% people who screwed up though which has been verified off and on. Like with everything you only hear the negative experiences yet everyone overlooks the positive experiences but like I said earlier to each their own. Myself and many others have had great experiences with them and your right it doesn't make the car any faster, your also wrong it almost completely deletes the turbo and throttle lag of course you can pedal mash but you still get the hesitation regardless doing that from GM's drive-by-wire. some people want instant response and that's their choice and their money. I'm not sure why your so hell bent on knocking the things if you don't like it then don't buy it. Using the excuse your informing others is a moot point at this stage they can easily look up JMS or VTC and get both sides of a story and decide.

I made no such excuse in this thread. I asked some reasonable questions, and gave my opinion. Why do you get such a knot in your panties if someone has an opposing viewpoint from yours? This is exactly why I try to avoid any discussion with you. You're extremely ignorant, and whine if you don't get your way. I'm just going to find a way to block you at this point. You've constantly proven that you don't know dick about cars or how they work. I've tried to educate you, but it's proven pointless. Good luck with your car dude, you're gonna need it. Now leave me the hell alone.

I can see both 'sides' to this mod... On one hand I'd welcome the added throttle response vs. pedal position, but in my case, I'm fine with using it as is and using that few hundred dollars towards an actual tune that would also take care of this without the extra hardware... I'll just live with it till then
I've never used one of these products, but I'm considering trying one out on my 2011 kia koup as the throttle has a HUGE dead spot which is quite annoying to 'drive around'...
I'm sure if this product helps with that initial dead spot or 'lag' in the Camaro it should show up in the 60' times/ 0-60 times; just not sure if anyone here has done an in-depth before and after review with ones of these devices...

Don't worry, I'll still be here discussing things and spreading knowledge. It will be much easier without that dude following me around with a chip on his shoulder.
