IMO, the new SS is a quantum leap improvement over the 2013 I had. Lighter, quicker, dramatically improved interior and instrumentation, better fuel economy, all the new safety tech, etc. The LT1 and A8 or rev matching M6 are a huge upgrade and the MRC is awesome for changing the suspension firmness with the touch of button. If you haven't test driven the the new SS you should try it out. I know how the 1LE feels like it is on rails but once you get in the new SS and feel the weight loss and how quick it can change directions compared to the heavier gen 5 it should put a smile on your face. The new SS felt so good to me I didn't even need to wait for the 1LE this time around.

My 2015 2SS/RS/1LE stickered at $46,000. I bought it for just over $39,000. Almost $15,000 less than the 2SS 6th gens my dealer had at the time. That is huge. Also, I prefer the looks of the 5th gen 1LE's over the 6th gens by far. I came close to holding out for a 17 1LE. Time will tell if I should have. |

July 2016 Camaro Sales Figures (and vs. Mustang & Challenger)
Quote:
First, you're on the wrong forum. Second, you're entitled to your opinion but that's all it is. What isn't an opinion is the performance difference between the two cars. The Mustang lags behind the Gen 6 Camaro in all performance aspects. That is a fact. It's always people who can't afford either car or even driven them, who are the biggest critics!!

Almost EVERYBODY agrees that the interior aside from the LT1 was the 2nd biggest upgrade. Heck, some even say it's more of an upgrade over the performance. The wheels are, looks are subjective as well but it's NIGHT and DAY!! ![]() Next to the big bad Z28

I had two GT's and and EB.. the visibility is just slighty better in the Stang than the Camaro. Both sucks compared to a sedan. I love the big 3 and all are different in their own way. I prefer the Camaro looks but I also like the s550.. Just like the Camaro more since it looks mean, pissted off! So how exactly is the 5.0 better?? ![]() Oh and not forget this from factory.. manual per manual

I love the interior. I just hate the digital gauges. I've been in one, played with them. Still not impressed. In 3 years they will look dated IMHO. I also love the weight savings, and performance. The direct injection, I'm not sure about yet. The front half of the car I love. I really don't like the wheel opitions though. Most of them look cheap, and I'm not a fan of silver wheels at all TBH, and those are on most of the 6th gens I've seen in person. The new black wheels look ok, but I prefer the 5th gen 1LE/ZL1 wheels all day. To be fair, I also hate most of the factory wheels on the 5th gens if that's any consolation.

The Mustang got smoked by the BMW, and which car are saying is better? All your posts show you are a typical Ford fan boy just trying to get a rise out of people that happen to own the car that destroyed your dream horse. I'll give you some inside info for you to bring back to your butt hurt Mustang6g group. Let them know there is a new club forming 6 blocks from every car and coffee meet. It's called Tows and Stangs. It's a huge fleet of wreckers that hangout and and wait for the numerous calls to pull the Mustangs out of the ditches.

Typical response from a troll that states he owns a 16 GT, but loves the Camaro, just can't afford it. If you love your mustang and it's soooo wonderful, why are you here? I'll tell you...you are trying to convince yourself that you bought the better car, but you know it's not true. You and so many others like you come on the forum to bash the Gen6 because you can't afford one. You bought a GT and didn't buy the Performance Package. If you cared so much about performance cars and stats, why not get the performance package option? Obviously, you couldn't afford it. And if you couldn't afford a PP GT, you can't afford the 1SS Camaro. So here you are with 90% of your posts in monthly sales threads trying to justify your purchase. Truly sad.
