What???

I dont know, actually? I just figured since the ATS did, the Camaro would. Guess I assumed(hate when I do that).

I think a valid question would be.... if it's raining, why would you use the remote to tell the car to roll down the windows? I mean, I don't think you really need the car to prevent you from rolling down the windows when its raining...

Maybe you work in a windowless building but want to get the car cooled down when you're ready to leave, but are unsure if it's raining?

My system would crack the windows when remote started. Is that not what the Camaro will do? If not, disregard the following example.
EXAMPLE: My wife uses her remote start in the morning when cold(mind you, "cold" to her is 70* lol) If its raining and the system is set to crack the windows, via remote start- water in car.
Rainsense wipers detect any rain on windshield and activate the wipers. It could be programmed so that when remote start is used- if the car senses rain, it overrides the window crack feature.
Again. That was assuming Rainsense wipers would be equipped.

Really? On your Cadillac? I don't think it should do that... sounds like a programming bug or something is broken. Does it say that's expected behavior in the manual book?

In any case, this feature in this thread isn't referring to remote start, but rather just rolling down the windows.

Uh, no. Nope, not at all.

Your Corvette had serious electrical issues then, if it was cracking the windows if you hit the remote start or rainsense...... hell they have nothing in common. What did you do to your Corvette? Sabotage the electrical system?

Remote window operation: Hit unlock twice, hold it down the second time, rolls windows all the way down. Does not do anything with remote start or rainsense.

Remote start: Starts the car when the remote start button is pressed and held. Does not do anything with the windows or rainsense

Rainsense: Pulsates the windshield wipers while driving if moisture is sensed on the windshield. Does not do anything with remote start or remote window roll down.

None of them are, nor have they ever been, designed to be integrated or work together in any way by GM. Or any other manufacturer for that matter. If your car was doing those wacky things, it was f'd up and you should have taken it to the dealer for what sounds like thousands of dollars of bad wiring or a cooked body control module.

Here's video:

I also tried it on a car with a sunroof but it doesn't open the sunroof - only the windows.
