Remote window roll down!

After reading the owners manual, on page 138 it mentions the parameter in the vehicle programming to have remote windows on or off! The Camaro has remote window roll down!!! My Accord has this feature and I love it in hot weather. Press the remote unlock button twice and hold down the unlock button on the second press, and you can roll the windows down before getting into a hot car!

This is a feature many European cars have, and I think Honda is the only Japanese company to offer it, but I don't think many GM cars have ever had it. Does Cadillac? I would think if any GM cars have had it in the past it would be Cadillac.

I LOVE that feature! The Astra I drove around Europe had that, I thought it was pretty cool. I hate using the AC, love rolling down the windows and this feature makes me even lazier, love it haha.

They make modules that interface with cars with remote roll down to roll them up. I have one in the Accord. I don't think they make one for Nissan though.

Hopefully they get with GM and design one for the Camaro.

I have this feature in my C6, using an aftermarket accessory called Windows valet. Loved it during hot summer days.
Glad to hear it is standard on Camaro.

2015 mustangs come with it but you can't roll the windows back up. I find that pretty stupid.

My Infiniti has it and I'm glad my Camaro will.

This is a cool feature. Its popular for Corvettes. Called Window Valet. To see it integrated like this is even cooler! Now... If they could just somehow tie it into the rainsense wiper system, so as to NOT crack the windows when rain is sensed!? That would be awesome.

Will the new Camaro have rain-sensing wipers? This was a nice feature on my '11 Charger.

I don't think the Camaro has rain sense...at least I didn't see it mentioned anywhere or in the manual.

No rainsense mentioned in the owners manual.

Only trick feature about the wipers is that they will always return to the home/park position no matter where they are at in the cycle when you shut the engine off. They won't stop mid cycle in the middle of the windshield if you have them on and shut the car off.
