The MDS hemi V8's operate as V4's some of the time ... actually, those are the only V4's at Chrysler Corp.

Seriously, though, the obvious answer right now is Ford over Dodge. Things change fast, though. Just five years ago, Dodge was tops among the Big 3, at least from a business/profitability point of view, and Ford seemed to be in the most trouble. Anyone want to predict what 2015 will look like?
Ram lives, and expands into commercial trucks (dump trucks, semi's, etc). Dodge brand goes poof, possibly with Chrysler along with it. Replaced by Fiat North America. Jeep survives, because Jeep always survives. Willys Overland ran into trouble and was taken over by American Motors who ran into trouble and was taken over by Chrysler who ran into trouble and was taken over by Fiat.

Oh, and for the record, I voted for Dodge

Ide go for ford cause io love the SVT raptor.. and the mustang is way more performance orientated than the challenger... and I love the ford gt and classic gt40

the viper is nice.. but ide get a z06/zr1 any day over it...

dodge just doesnt have something Ide ocnsider buying in any class/category..

only place it wins is in styling over the camaro and mustang IMO.. but performance plays a big role there for me.. so went with the camaro..

I dont really care for the hemi v8s cause they still cant deliver and the challenger is well out of the price range of the gt and ss lol it should be fighting grand sports and gt500 and it cant even beat the bottom of the line up

Ok, so...

I paid 31,585 for mine..less than a base 1SS L99..and with just a K&N CAI and nothing else I turn in low 13's at the track with a DA of between 1800 and 2200 feet. My average uncorrected time being 13.3 and corrected down to 13 flat or just over 13.1...

Is that still not delivering? As far as I can tell thats right in line with the average automatic mustang and Camaro's...so..?

So are you going to pretend that all of that is me just making stuff up or admit that you were wrong and dont know what you're talking about in this case.

Sure, a base Challenger R/T and base 1SS Camaro are about the same price, but they are by no means similarly equipped or in the same league performance wise. You want the 6-speed tranny, that costs more. You want a limited slip rear end, that costs more. Any color besides black, silver, and while, that costs more. Driver info center, that costs more. Satellite radio, that costs more. 20 inch wheels, that costs more. Remote start, that costs more. Summer tires, not available. Better than a Caravan brakes, not available. Handling, not even close.

Once you check all the option boxes to equip a Challenger with everything the Camaro has standard, you are at least $5000 above the Camaro, and you still have lousy brakes, all season tires, inferior handling dynamics, and come up over 50 horsepower short with more weight. So how is the Challenger in line with a Camaro or Mustang performance or value-wise?
