So 5 years ago when I got my new 2020 2SS and installed the GMP CAI, I put the CARB sticker (cuz I live in Kommifornia) on the hood where when I was growing up in the 70's and 80's most of the engine stickers were... Shortly after doing that, I had a "WTF" moment and realized I should have put it on the back of the CAI itself... Well, too late, peeling off the sticker would remove a good amount of the adhesive and it would never stick correctly... Which a peeling sticker is not good for my OCD...

Well, I was finally able to find a replacement sticker (SEE HERE if you need one) and today put it where it should have originally been 5 years ago!

AFTER:

It's the little things that make a difference!

$14.07 WELL SPENT!!!

Finally finished up with installing the front adjustable sway bar and end links from BMR... shortened the front end links a pretty decent amount to give me a good amount of clearance with the stiffest setting and also moved the bushings as far back as it would allow to give me good clearance between the sway bar and the front crash bar.

A few photos:

And I did just receive the BMR billet mounts and Delrin bushings (insanely overpriced, lol) and swapped them in:

Sorry for the lengthy post.. thanks for all whom helped!

Are those suspension components known for having clearance issues?

Not that I'm aware of.. Only had issue with running the end links at OEM length and slotting into the stiffest sway bar setting. I emailed BMR and they told me, "If you can adjust the endlink to clear that is fine. The zl1’s have some differences from a ss that cause that." and, "No that is fine just make sure the sway bar does not hit anything else in its range of motion."

So, I just shortened the end links and no more clearance issues.

I upgraded my phone to a (used) Samsung S23 that finally came within my hard budget ($199) after discounts, and guess what, IT FITS PERFECTLY on the wireless charging pad after trimming the long edge end caps, which I already did years ago.

Yes, we all know GM effed up with this constrained design, but where there is a will, there is a way. If one wants, they can wirelessly charge a reasonably modern phone and use wireless Android Auto with 6th gen Camaros, even pre-refresh ones.

Upgraded to Alcantara on the steering wheel, dash, shifter, knee pads and arm rest. Much nicer... should've been like this from the factory. Got all ZL1 stuff so it has red stitching to match the rest of the car.

I cut off the tabs (shows on upper left of your pic) and my iPhone 14 Pro fits.

Nice! I've been learning Autodesk Fusion and doing a lot of 3d printing lately.. I wonder if I can model something up to hold larger phones and still look good... hmmm.

Not a pro by any means and still learning a lot as I go but it's fun to find a problem and then try to figure it out. Just made this to mount an Arlo 4k camera and solar panel to my house, lol..
