Unless GM comes to their senses, it’s the last front engine, rear drive, V8 coupe with a real three pedal manual transmission made.

Were you able to test drive one while there?

I did not

Starting to think I should have gotten a ZL1 instead though I don't particularly feel like the SS 1LE is lacking in power though .

From the research I did, it looks like Sewell doesn't charge mark-ups. If I do end up getting one, would most likely get it from Sewell Houston. I used to live in Houston anyways.
That is where I was. The one I looked at was $125.

CT5-V BW

The CT5 BW is an awesome car. I was ready to go order one in 23 and trade my ZL1 convertible to get it. I hated the thought of not having a convertible for a pleasure vehicle for the first time in many years, but decided the Caddy was awesome enough to make that sacrifice.

The night before I planned to go to the dealer, I did a search for an alternate vehicle I had been looking for and it turned up. So I abandoned the BW idea and kept the ZL1.

Beside the performance, the most appealing thing to me was the interior color choices. If I could justify the fuel cost, it would be great to have one for a DD, not just a pleasure vehicle.

Will see what the 2025 comes out to. I will be driving down to Houston for something else later in the year. Will swing by and see if they will let me test drive one .

CT5V BW

Your best bet to get to drive one is find a used one for sale. New Cadillac dealers are going to be reluctant to let you put miles on a new one.

The dealer I got mine (which was used) from didn't really even want me to drive it when I got there and I was buying. (drove 4 hours to get it and had setup purchase before ever leaving house). I did not care as I needed no test drive of it to know it was going home with me but I found it funny.
