. Congrats. I went with a friend while he test drove a CT4 BW. Very nice car. I thought the exhaust on the CT4 BW was very tame though. |

. From the research I did, it looks like Sewell doesn't charge mark-ups. If I do end up getting one, would most likely get it from Sewell Houston. I used to live in Houston anyways. |

[QUOTE=weekend_cruiser;11436362]Curious, is it the design language of Cadillacs that make them a turn off for you or something else?
Yes, it's been a combination of looks and the stupid price tags on Cadillacs(yes, I know Cadillacs have usually been high priced.) That said, the Blackwing is probably the "best" looking cadillac out there, and has power to boot. . I like my 2 doors just fine and have other daily's for the family. . Sure, the BW has 18 more hp, and 4 doors(if you're into that sort of thing).. it's also a little heavier(yes, only about 200-ish lbs, but the bigger issue to me is that it's 30-40k higher in price than my ZL1 was. The heavier weight, 4 doors and 18 hp isn't enough to justify 100k or more for that car in particular. ![]() NOT bashing the BW at all! It's a great car for sure! ![]()

It seems Sewell is definitely a well liked dealership from the Cadillac forums. Probably one of the best choices if you dont like games or not wanting to test several closer dealers to see how they behave. For disclosure I did not buy mine new and would not have paid the 122$K sticker for it in 2022. It was a CPO car in March of this year and in comparison to others I had looked into it was a steal at 91$K and I got a good trade in deal on my 2021 2500 Silverado. I kept the Camaro as my sports car and the BW was replacing my family/DD the Silverado. I have another older Silverado for the "truck need" and didnt need another truck. Up until this car I was very much in the opinion of Nytmare23 as well. 4 door cars were not my thing. I had sports car and I had a truck (4 doors) for family and truck stuff. I was just in a position now where the truck could become more of the "as needed" vs multi task vehicle. The BW is about the only 4 door that has ever excited me. So I figured why not?

Considered? Absolutely! Afford? If I sold the Camaro, which ain’t happenin.
If I wanted to cash out some stock I’d buy one but I’m not doing that right now.

I have been looking at the BW as a replacement for my Hyundai Genesis R-Spec as my DD when I retire in a couple of years. I have always liked a sedan with some power if for no other reason than to screw with the Mustang kids. I have no intention of getting rid of my Camaro though, its going in the will unless my family pisses me off.

Yes, I am currently considering it. I have more cars than I really need. My LE has been great, but I have more need for access to the back seats than I used to. Right now, I have multiple vehicles that all serve a single/ more focused purpose. Combining the DD and track car is appealing.

If I got a Z06, it would have to be a 3LZ trim which is 130k. That in itself is not bad but most of the ones you will find on the lot have a fair amount of options which I don't particularly care for pushing past 150k. Affordability doesn't mean the same thing to everyone. I personally I am not willing to drop 150k on a vehicle at this point in my life .
