After a year of owning my ’23 2SS 1LE, thinking of moving into something else. I love the 1LE and it brings a smile to my face every time I drive it. I honestly can’t think of anything lacking on the 1LE for me to consider switching so I believe it’s just an upgrade itch I am currently experiencing 😊.
If I were to upgrade, manual and v8 are requirements for me so strongly considering the CT5-V BW. I prefer the mid-year refresh front-end so would only get a 2025+ model. Anyone considered this switch or has already made this switch? P.S. I test drove a friend’s C8 Z06 and it was incredible. Only car I would be willing to forgo a manual as of right now. But unfortunately, it’s out of my price range. |

I can appreciate the Blackwing however, I've never been into any Cadillacs, so it's a no from me. I definitely would not get one just to replace my ZL1, but to each their own!

The CT5-V Blackwing is a very significant car, but I wouldn't trade my Camaro for one.

I didn't trade/sell my Camaro. It just sits more often than it used to.
I bought a 2022 BW in March. I love my Camaro and I imagine driving the BW is something like the ZL1 in its power/thrill/enjoyment level. There is something similar in driving them but the BW has become my go to car no real contest.

Just to say I did order a 2025 CT4 BW The 2025 CT5 is too big. Yes it's got a 6 cyl. turbo but all the fun stuff I need to be happy with.

I almost got one. But the 122k out the door, was too much. Got the ZL1 for 42k cheaper.

So that's where you can still get a Chevy SS !? Shoot, I thought I'd waited too long!

I coincidently just finished the CT4/CT5 scrapping, for all V-Series (BW and non-BW included)

So I bought a 911S, which while insanely fast, and handles better than anything I've ever driven... it was a PDK, and therefore a lot less involving once you got over how quick / fast it was. That, and it sounded like a shop vac around town, and a really angry shop vac with some turbo whoosh and whistle when getting on it. Very impressive fit and finish, and overall execution. I'm glad I owned one and now understand why every car mag and review raves about them, but in the end not really for me. Made me really miss a manual and a V8, so I sold it and went looking for a M6 BW again, and again, dealers are just stupid on pricing, so I too, got a ZL1 for a fraction of the price, and since I didn't need 4 seats, it's a win for me.
