Regarding the strut bar, this is from one of the answered questions in the Ask the Camaro Team section
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=517935

Quote:
The Camaro team felt that this very slight improvement was not worth penalizing the car for the additional mass.

Same here on my 2000 WS6, totally changed how it felt. Same with subframe connectors. Now I think on the 6th Gen their just there to look cool.

Appreciate the article. Added function and still looks good.

Oh nice, glad I can drop the strut bar from the list. It was the one thing I wished my car had but didn't (Ok, 2 things, kind of wish I had Bose audio as well). Didn't realize they aren't near as functional as on my old 4th gen.

As for thread topic... Not a damn thing.. again. This is a major downside to having this car...winters feel sooo much longer!!

17 Camaro RS 3.6L Garnet Red

Today I installed ZL1-Addons Lift Pads and treated vinyl trim and tires with Chem Guys rubber/vinyl renew gel. Since I got it on Jan 12th and since this is my first post in this thread, I did:

Installed OE Replica SS Wheels in chrome 20x9's on new tires
Installed Red 100% Carbon Fiber shifter paddles, start stop switch, and radio buttons
Installed wireless charging phone mount
LED front turn signal bulbs with resistors (reverse lights are tomorrow)
Tranny flush and fill, oil change, air filter change

Put in the Cadillac door striker covers, and these rear rock guards. They’re not real wide but seem sturdy.

If it were me I'd pull that "adventure subaru" off. I'm not advertising for a dealer, especially with a different brand car.

THis. Also, I've never seen the RS striping on the bottom of the side. Was than an OEM option? What year and model RS you got there?

I really like the way the wheels and lower graphics offset the red. Looks great!

Unless he, friend or a family member owns the dealership? And then it’s totally viable.

Yes the dealer decal is next on the list.

I'm second owner so I don't know about decal but looks OEM. Its a 2017 2LT V6. I can't decide if I really like the decals or not. I mean they look good at first but I would rather have hood/trunk wide stripes down top of car. But it's the way it is now.

Oh no. That sucks. Hopefully you can have the wheel repaired. I've had good success with having that done. A good wheel repair shop can generally make a wheel like new.
