Puts you almost on par with the 1LE package by itself just not having to spend $7000 when 1/2 of it is cosmetic. As far as braking is concerned, this is just my opinion. I see the 6 piston more for track performance level braking. I have the 4 piston, but I upgraded to Drilled Slotted rotors and Powerstop extreme pad, granted I also go to the dragstrip as well but the upgrade improved my brake performance by what feels like 20-30% especially with 1LE tire widths. I was surprised the difference the rotors and pads made on the 4 piston setup.

The interiors on Furds leave a lot to be desired, old neighbor had bought a GT500 the same year I bought my ZL1 and the interior on the Chevy was light years better, and he paid over 6 figures for that car. I frequent a few of the Furd forums to stay up to date with their cars and to say the Furd community isn't disappointed in the DH is an understatement. Not only are they turned off by the cost for what their getting, they also complain that the interior looks slapped together and unfinished.

Don't forget about our complimentary order tracking thread where, unlike with most dealerships, you'll get exact information about your order status and approximate ETAs. The way it works is you post your 6-letter order codes with a status update request, and a selfless dealership employee who is also a member here will respond with the current status and any other pertinent information about your order.

Yes, there are other minor improvements in the 1LE, too. Truth to be told, though, this specific one isn't too helpful: the low side (in-tank) fuel pump in the 1LE is the same as the unit in the ZL1, but the HPFP is not, that one you need to upgrade anyway if you ever want moar powah.

Thanks for the more detailed explanation! What are some of the other minor improvements you mentioned? I'm curious what other upgrades the 1LE cars get that aren't really advertised by GM.

After I sold my 2019 miata I was looking for a sports car with a good manual transmission that was almost as good as the miata. Test drove an '19 Ecoboost manual, '19 civic si, '19 WRX,'15 auto GT, '18 auto v6 camaro, '18 auto 2SS v8, '18 manual GT and finally a '18 2SS manual- in that order.
First thing I noticed was the Camaro actually had SOME steering feel, but the GT sounded better. The clutch and gearbox of the GT was horrible. I later learned that you basically have to immediately change the clutch spring on the GT. It basically snaps back and has no progression whatsoever. It felt like it was designed as an after thought. This combined with everyone on the MT-82, kept me far away. I had almost bought a 2020 auto GT with PP1, but this was right when dealers started raising prices and couldn't make a deal (still far below MSRP in retrospec). Also didn't really want an auto and thought I would regret it. A year later I finally found a manual 2SS to test drive at Carmax. The TR-6060 made it a joy to drive. I put in an order a month later and got the car exactly to my spec back in October. I didn't get the 1LE package because I wasn't sold 100% on the Recaros. I sat in a new ZL1 (only recaros I could find within 50 miles at the time) and didn't fit comfortably. I am a wider body frame and I was basically sitting on top of the bolsters. Some say the seats mold to your body, but I didn't want to take the chance on an order. In retrospec, I am happy with the 2SS because the performance is already very high and I don't expect to track the car. The other bits make the car feel special to drive as its not my daily. Everyone raves about MRC, but I didn't want the extra complexity. I always tell myself I may upgrade to the non-mrc GM performance suspension, but everytime I drive the car I see no need. This car feels like a big bad v8 miata. PS. NPP sounds pretty damn good.
