Quality requirements of OEMs and Suppliers have not changed pre and post covid so I am not sure about the basis of this claim. If anything, vehicles are coming our with few deleted features (specified in the window sticker) and additional delays.

I would think with the reduced amount of Camaro's going down the line the quality would be going up not down, they have more time to take the extra minute or two and get paid by the hour.

I never really got the "garage queen" thing, as cars like this are meant to be driven imo.

Even the volume is lower, OEMs maintain the same production cycle time. Lower volume translates into reduction of worker shift hours.

I was thinking of the ZL1/1LE. I know the engine is the same, but since it’s more of a hobby car, I was thinking of tracking it when I retire and the 1LE is more specific.

UAW employees have Seniority, so reductions in workforce, Senior employees are assembling the Cars together. I was union for 36 years (I AM) my mind set and the guys around me ,we always strived to do our best. Im sure its the same mindset for the guys assembling our Cars.
