Yeah on stock power. I have 0 traction with pS4S even in the heat of the summer. Maybe they are good for you with your 700whp. lol I have a sub 5s 60-130, good luck getting a PS4S to hook at 60. However, my fronts are still PS4S.

Sorry for the questions, but if you get rims and tires specifically for dragging, would I need to change anything else? Or just put them on and take them off?
What size rim / tire is best |

Depends on how serious you are about drag racing. A 15" wheel and tire setup is going to be best but will require a rear rotor swap. Most people use 17's or 18's that will work for all but the most extreme setups.

Mickey is great in a straight line, but not so good with any turns. Thus, their only street time will be the 8 mi. round trip to the strip.

Sorry for probably a silly question, But when buying the drag rims etc, why is the bead lock better?? Is it necessary?, just because they're double the price. I'm assuming they are but don't know the reasoning

It's mainly just to keep the tire from slipping on the wheel. For a stock ZL1 or even lightly modded it's not really necessary but if you have plans for the future to make quite a bit of power with your car and are serious at the drag strip then definitely invest in them. |
