Is this just the nature of my beast? Unprepped surface without heating the tires equal zero traction? I have a difficult time getting low two second 60 foot times. Any thoughts?

I ran 8.4 at 88mph in my bone stock 1LE with a 2.1 sixty. There is something wrong with your car or you are way short shifting.

Start off using launch control to at least get that 60' below 2.

Then work your way into turning it off...

I know my car is running perfectly - I am fully aware that I'm a terrible driver Your time is from your PDR? So, on the "street", sub 2's for 60 feet are very attainable? Short shifting? - this is all in first gear for the 60' and 330'.

My thoughts, too. I'm thinking about the new DR's from Nitto. But, it seems that respectable launches are attainable with the NT555G2's?

555G2's are shit. You need the 555r drag radial.

With a pulley, intake (and I am assuming a tune) I would expect a much higher trap speed.

His mph is low because of the excessive wheel spin. A 2.4 60ft is literally like doing a sideways burn out down the track. Should be able to get a 1.8 pretty easy with a drag radial and the car will pick up a ton.

In a ZL1 I would never run the G2s. No grip/traction at all. For the street run either the stock GY3s or PS4S. I run. PS4S and R888Rs in the back but my car is a bit more modded.
