Details of engine or trans tunes aren't typically posted on public threads.

I had bog until i replaced the clutch with the dyad unit. A good tune helps as will some tb work but the stock clutch dosent engage positively ive found, there is some sort of buffer at play.

He is the tuner so they don't go telling everyone how they fix something unless you go to him and pay him to tune the car and fix the issue.

There is more to it than just the clutch. The car needs to be tuned by someone that has figured out what was causing the bog issue like my buddy that is a tuner did.
If you want it tuned just sent him a pm.

Nothing new/special here. Any decent tuner can solve the bog.

The issue is that many of us don't want to void our warranty to solve an issue that should be dealt with by the manufacturer.

I've my car for a year and half and have used a couple good tuners.I have done extensive research, phone calls messages all over the country asking shops tuners how to fix it and none knew how, I bought an hp tuners and with the help of my buddy we have change tables making adjustments for a year now, it really got frustrating when I went to the drag strip the car would bog everytime my best 60ft at the track was 1.89 which it sucked my car ran 10.5@140 =mph with the bog issue but now is fixed and I need to take it back to the drag strip and see If I can get it in the low 10's or high 9's with a good 60ft.

Ok. Except others on this forum have had success with tuning.

If you intended to tune anyway (as many do) then excellent.

If you don't want to give up your warranty, tuning isn't a fix, it's a hack.

Really? I haven't heard of 1. The GM bogs are not in the tune. Even the A10 has a bog. And the bog is on purpose by gm to preserve the Camaro diffs and axles. They have even admitted the bog is there. It was said that releasing the clutch a certain way minimizes the bog. But I couldn't figure it out on my '16 M6 SS after a couple of hundred runs.

If the big is not in the tune then how did GM find a way to implement it ???

Is that why they chose the generic throttle body?

The computer retards power to preserve the driveline at launch. Simple as that.

So then that means the bog is coded into the tune isn’t it?

I’m mot trying to be a smart ass. I just want to be sure I understand the intricacies of this tunning stuff.

I feel like I need an engineering degree to understand the tuning principles in these cars.
