Daily driving, no bog at all. Drag racing, defiantly bogs. If you want to drag race the ZL1, you have three options;
1) learn how to launch without hitting torque limits.
2) Tune it out.
3) Get the A10

I didn't really have bog for normal day to day traffic that I can recall. I did end up getting the mamo TB due to recommendations and it was a big improvement, seemed to wake the car up so to speak.

Same thing but not quite as noticeable in my A10 ZL1. I wanted an M6 ZL1 but passed on it due to the even worse bog.
While spirited driving on my 2016 Camaro SS I have never experienced the bog issue on my 6 speed manual transmission car.

I've always wanted to know if there was a way to keep the computer from controlling the throttle so much. If you touch the clutch pedal at all at low revs and then give it gas, it barely revs at all. Another way to describe it is let's say you're coasting with the car in neutral, clutch is out (your foot is not touching it) - the car revs like normal. Touch the clutch, and suddenly it's as if what 100% throttle input previously is now 10%.

The times it's really pissed me off is when I'm coasting very slowly into an intersection waiting for traffic to clear so I can turn left. Clutch is depressed, transmission is in 1st gear, car is not stopped, but if I see an opening in traffic and go to blip the throttle right before I engage the clutch, the engine BARELY responds and it's as if it's way way down on power or dieing or something, and it's as if I have to FLOOR the throttle to get the revs to come up to where I need them to get going. It's obnoxious and frankly, it's a little dangerous.

It's obviously GM's way to try and protect the drive train from abuse, but they need to dial it back. I believe this is not an issue on the regular SS, but it's been discussed on the 1LE forum.

Try clutch up first then feed in gas...im left handed so if i think theres a stall I clutch in first I dont go for more gas. your correct if you try to blip the throttle drive by wire usually mutes that.

When mines cold just free revving a little in neutral I notice it wont blip up to 2k rpm it does dip the revs and want to stall.

I have a 19 and I have driven manuals on and off most of my adult life. I thought my Corvette was bad, until I got this. I have never stalled a car, like I do this one. At first I thought maybe it was just a learning curve with the clutch, but man oh man, what a PITA this can be sometimes. I don't want to get any type of tune, because the drive train warranty will be toast. I'm waiting for the ported TB. I hope this provides a little improvement. Someone in a previous post indicated the fix was in for the MY19. No, its not, IMHO.

Wow, that sucks. I was hoping we’d be able to eventually get a software update that’d fix it. I have the TM TB and it didn’t help mine...i do however like the part.

I was slow rolling to a red light today and blipped it...fkn died. Really???

See I never get anything like that I been riding around town stop and go all week while they pave the highway.

I have had the eLSD screen up while driving not really sure whats it trying to tell me all the time but I see tire slip occasionally(red bar on bottom) and the rear has been up to 40% I think (top bar).

The 40% is how much the diff is locked. The green/red bar is percent of wheel slip. It is partly based on the rotation of the front tires in relation to the rears.

A couple things..... First, I'm not having issues reving over 4K. I dont believe that's the problem with most/all on this thread. Secondly, if your buddy has "the answer", is there some super secret reason that he/she can't share that insight with the Camaro community? Hence, the entire reason for this thread and a community website for that matter.. If it's that big of a deal, forget it.
