Popped my hood vent scoops off and gave them a nice coat of red. I’ll let them dry for a couple days before I re-install them

First wash today. 2 bucket, multi towel method, iron X, Meguiar's clay bar, Meguiar's ultimate liquid wax, and Meguiar's quick finish hard coat. I was going to go the ceramic coat direction, but decided against it. After reading tons of reviews, I decided on the Meguiar's stuff and i must say that it is awesome. I've used their products for years, but this was the first time that I used this new stuff. The wax is phenomenal and super easy to work with. The final quick finish is just icing on the cake. It's all supposed to last for nearly two years when top coated with that coat. I don't drive the car except in perfect weather, so my guess is that it will last a while. It all has UV protectant too.

This is Summit White too.

Put the calipers back on after having been sent off to get powdered. More so for the Missus Will try and pull it out of the garage and get a full side shot if the weather cooperates tomorrow, suppose to get some white stuff falling from the sky. Totally missed all of the nice weather days we had recently too while they were off!!

I had to do like 6 coats to get it to cover correctly. The can says will adhere to plastic. I can’t wait to install them back on the car but I’m waiting a couple days for the paint to thoroughly cure.

I think he painted his hood vents with that paint not his calipers

Yeah, the dude with the calipers had them powder coated. The hood vents were rattle can. They may hold up fine, since it's just the engine compartment plus air moving through them.
