I had a 4th gen that did the same...that's one of the reasons I'm asking. But it seems the 6th gen doesn't suffer from the problem as much.

If I kept the front tires at the stock size and went with a 285/35/20 on the rear would it still work fine?

MagnaRide Suspension Setting

For guys with the MagnaRide shocks, what suspension setting have you found works the best for a drag launch?

I'd think the softest setting but I've never tried adjusting it.

I'd like to keep all the npp intact. I wonder if swapping the secondary cats for a small resonator would do anything?

Deeper Exhaust Note but Not much Louder

I like the stock exhaust but wish it had a deeper note and was less raspy.

LT2 Intake with original Engine/Coil covers?

From what I read the original engine and coil covers don't fit with the LT2 intake.

Anyone have any luck modifying the intake or covers to make them fit?

Very few E85 options in my area so can't do much with that. Maybe headers with high-flow cats and leave the rest of the exhaust alone.
Perhaps I should just go old-school and put a 150 shot of...

Save me from Myself!

I'm coming from a 4th gen where I took a stock car to a full bolt-on and head/cam car with 4:10 gears and twin disc clutch. It was a great car but became a chore to drive after it was modified. Heavy...
