Can't believe it's been a year since last oil change! American made oil filter, was not expecting that, but here it is. Oil life monitor was down into teens, too low for me :)

Buy the best cheap fluid you can get, bleed often. We used to track w Castrol LMA until it was discontinued. Now, BRF 600 or 660 and.. bleed often.

I have had 2 oil pump failures, same year car as OP. Both covered by Chevy, engine warranty extended to 7 years or 70K miles if I recall correctly.


It's been "good" since second pump was put on....

Always afraid that pulling wheels away from body would mess up the alignment.
