IGLA and Range AFM Disabler Compatibility?

Hi all,
I cannot get a clear answer from my local IGLA installer or from the folks who make the Range AFM disabler. Simply stated:

In my 2021 stock LT1, can I have an IGLA system installed and also keep the Range AFM disabler active at all times? (The confusion lies in the fact that IGLA disables the OBD port to some degree, but not sure if it is to the point that the Range device will fail to work).

I will most appreciate replies based on actual experience, as I have already hear speculation for both yes and no.

I do not want to turn the IGLA off and on (in and out of service mode) in order to use the AFM disabler.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Turn off AFM in the tune. Then you don't need to worry about that side of it.

Appreciate the input. For better worse, as a new Camaro owner I prefer to keep things stock for the time being (while the Range device breaks that rule, it is at least quickly removeable).

Tuning it out is literally uncheck the box that says DOD- enable. Everything else will stay the same. And if you want to undo it you just check the box again.

Yeah, but we've already paid the entire overhead of tuning (MPVI 2/3/4 plus credits), which he may not be ready to tackle just yet even if his powertrain warranty already expired. And if that's not the case, he probably wants to stretch that warranty to its limits.

I have a IGLA, Compustar and I use the AFM disabler at all times except for road trips. No problems!

I have zero knowledge of doing tuning of any kind, nor do I see myself doing my own tuning in the future regardless of warranty status. I understand that may not match well with many folks in this forum, but I'm just not at that point yet, if ever.

Thanks for taking the time to make the response, but I have no knowledge of tuning. While what you propose sounds easy for someone with the tools and skill, I have neither when it comes to this.

If your IGLA is setup to block diagnostics on the OBD port, it only does it when the IGLA is in the "armed" state. Once you authorize the IGLA then the ODB port becomes fully functional again. Well mostly fully functional, believe there is still some additional security around key programming in place. So unless the Range AFM needs to do something when the car is off, when the car is "on" but not running, or when the car is running but before you put it into gear you shouldn't have any issues at all between the IGLA and Range AFM disabler no matter how the IGLA is configured to operate in your vehicle.

Yes. The Range AFM disabler. Only issue is a slight battery drain if you don't start / drive you car after a week or two. No issues, it does not block the ODP port. The ODP port will not let you read any codes / issues until you put in your IGLA code. When getting my car serviced at the dealership, IGLA provides two FOBs that disable the IGLA when in proximity of the car. I attach one of them to the keys of the car. There also is a app which will allow you to disable the IGLA ( i do not use it ). these are some of the questions that in needed to be answered when I got mine installed. I have had mine for two years ( i think ).
Take the battery out of the FOB when not in use. The FOBs are useful when someone drives your car. No one drives my car but me!

For all the folks that have IGLA and a Manual Transmission, does your IGLA system allow you to start the vehicle "before" the code is entered? The installer that I talked to did not think that you can do that. Instead, they said the "manual transmission" cars would start like normal, but the engine would shut off once you started to accelerate / drive / move. All videos that I've seen show the code being entered "before" the car/truck could be started. Just curious of what everyone's experience has been. Thanks all
