TSB 23-NA-207 Fuel Feed Pipe

My ZL-1 is at the dealership to get this TSB taken care of and they seem to be struggling to get it done. I dropped it off last Thursday night (07/10/2025)and by Friday afternoon it wasn't started and they said they needed 2 days to do it and they would give me a loaner. I said no problem and dropped it off again yesterday 07/16/2025). Contacted them around noon today to get an update and they can't guarantee it will be done today.
For others that had this done, what was your experience?
I have attached the TSB and it doesn't look that complicated so I don't get it.

I just live with a little rattle at startup because I'm not dealing with dealership BS like that.

Were you actually experiencing the noise that is described by the TSB or was this proactive on your part?

Hope you get it resolved and with a positive result... Or just drop the Shop Manager a couple Benjamins with DSX Low-Side setup!!

I didn't realize the exhaust had to be dropped to replace the line. The reason mine is taking so long is they snapped a bolt at the exhaust manifold flange connection. They took the original tech off of the job and put their "Corvette Guy" on it. Still waiting for completion.

The sage continues. The TSB is taken care of and the noise is gone, that's the good news.
They broke a stud on the passenger manifold while dropping the exhaust (it happens, but they probably put a big impact on it rather than heating the nut). The problem is how they repaired it.
I am speaking with them now, but initial conversations are not promising.

Well after initially being told that this was an authorized repair, the service manager looked at my picture and ordered the correct manifold stud. I dropped the car back off this Monday morning (8/4/25), for them to accomplish this repair. While waiting for my loaner to be ready, I asked the service advisor what they would do if the threads in the manifold flange were damaged. He said that the stud would have new threads. After trying to explain that I meant the threads in the manifold, I gave up and went on my way.
Tuesday afternoon rolled around and I had not heard from them, so I called. The service advisor told me that we were waiting on parts. I asked what part since they had nine days to order and receive the stud. He said they are waiting for an exhaust manifold.
I wasn't surprised, I was sure they had damaged the thread drilling out the original stud.
This is ridiculous, if the first tech had just taken their time and used heat on the studs the first time, this saga would be long over.

My ZL1 was only at a dealership for 2 days. The day it came in and was unloaded from the transport, and the next day, when I bought it and drove it home! So, maybe more like less than a full 24 hours at a dealership! It will NEVER be at another one for all the reasons as you just painful experience. I hope it all works out for you. But, nothing bothers me more than knowing something isn't as it should be with my car and it will drive me crazy until I correct it! Good Luck !

Thank you and I hear you. I am not a fan of dealerships and only bring it in for warranty work, recalls or TSBs. This has been my first bad experience.

100%. I don't take my vehicle(s)...cars, motorcycles, atv's, etc. back to dealers for repairs unless it is a very serious issue that makes the vehicle undriveable. None of them give two sh*ts about quality work anymore. OP's case is a perfect example. It's guaranteed to come back with some kind of damage, either cosmetic or mechanical. I will live with minor issues rather than risk it. Sucks, but it is what it is.

I replaced mine myself. That sucked ass. The check valve itself failed. The High pressure fuel rail would bleed down over night. My crank time on cold start was 8-10 seconds. I should have just let the dealership do the fuel line, but I already had the top end of the engine apart doing the injectors and regulator.
