Hi Guys,
When I replaced my C7 Corvette Z51 for my 6th gen Camaro SS, the only thing that I missed was the quick change lanes feeling in the rear, like quicker reflexes on my Stingray, for some reason my Camaro felt heavier to react in the back. The Camaro its a 9/10 driving feeling from my C7 Stingray. How can I improve this?

Look into the BMR cradle lockout and some of the control/trailing arms. They took the wiggle waggle out of the rear of mine.

Does your Camaro have the electronic differential? I had a couple Z-51 C7s and now the 24 1SS (normal diff). I never figured the fancy E-diff did anything noticeable, but now that I don't have it I feel like it was doing a lot more than I gave it credit for. I haven't specifically noticed quick lane change behavior, but I can certainly see that being something the E-diff was assisting with. Any turning while accelerating maneuver feels like it has a lot less traction in the Camaro.

Try the same advice that SWFLZL1 gave the original poster. I have this BMR rear cradle lockout kit and it eliminated nearly all the side to side movement of the rubber bushings. Not saying it will be as good as the e-diff, but it will improve side to side and straight line consistency for a relatively low price.

Both my Z51 and my Camaro didn't came with the mrc suspensions. My C7 had the eLSD but my Camaro SS doesn't have it (only the SS1LE and the ZL1 have it).

Buy a 1SS 1LE with the 370mm front brakes, not the heavier BCD brakes, and install the ZLE's solid rear subframe mounts.

Bigger rear sway bar. I've put the biggest rsb on several front drivers in the past and it really changes the car. The front bites , you can feel the seat bottom pushing up when you turn and the rear rotating.I have 1.3 degrees neg camber on front for more bite.

It sounds like the rear Craddle lockout would be a good option.
Do you think that this device would increase the noise and vibration from the road during DD?

No increase in noise or vibration here either, this is a great upgrade with no noticeable drawbacks.

I agree with arpad_m response! Just installed BMR suspension mods and it’s been the difference maker so far.

Agree with all the BMR suggestions...cradle lockout, to start with, upper control arms, upper/lower trailing arms, front of cradle braces. Works like a charm. I too like a larger rear sway bar, I prefer a looser car than one that pushes on the front.
