tune on a stock ZL1 with a standard Rotofab?
I'm inquiring about this because my exhaust tips have major black soot, and as we all know these cars have miserable around time fuel mileage (which I really don't care much about).
I have a lot of experience with owning dozens of high performance motorcycles. When I had my current 200+hp bike flashed, power increased, throttle response increased, and fuel mileage went up significantly. I've been told that it's not really worth doing on a stock ZL1, but I would think a good tune would clean things up a bit throughout the rpm range, as well as improve fuel consumption. Thoughts? Thanks.

You might find some improvements with torque management keeping the throttle blade open completely and full timing advance at WOT (and maybe smoother throttle at very low speeds that I guess M6s have issues with sometimes), but that's probably it. You probably won't find MORE power, but be able to use all the power of your combination if calibrated correctly.

The stock tune is quite good and a stock rotofab does not increase airflow enough to require any adjustments. Not a good bang for the buck from a cost standpoint.

Better off with a green drop in filter and mixing up to E20.

Can the OEM tune safely adjust for E20?

Yes, if the car is mostly stock.
