ZL1 Badging on Recaro Seats

Hey all,
Any chance anyone know the GM Part # for the "ZL1" logo badging that's on the Recaro seats? I can't find it online. Thanks in advance!

Not serviceable. Part of the upper seat cover assembly.

Makes sense why I couldn't find anything on it. However if these things pop off you gotta replace the whole upper seat cover assembly which I did find and shows discontinued.

Cool thanks for the info

I don't mean to hijack your posting, but you mentioned that you found that the seat cover for your 2018 ZL1 has been discontinued.

That shows the importance of trying to locate and possibly purchase and stash away some of the parts that may be needed for future replacement of certain parts that may wear easily and not be available in the near future if anyone plans of owning their Camaro long term.

A 2018 ZL1 is not that old for replacement parts to be already discontinued. In many cases, reproduction parts will be available for many years, but if someone is very particular and wants to keep his Camaro all GM, it might be wise to think ahead.

I think there was a video on YouTube that had someone remove the seat skin. And then add some threaded screws into the badge. Then you could make a backing plate and re secure it to the skin.

Thanks, yeah a friend of mine and I have already thought about this. He started collecting parts for his 2015 Z28 that he has. He got extra of the fender flares, side skirts, front splitter etc. I have yet to start. GM already stopped making/ordering parts for the ZL1 1LE in 2022/2023. Thats why the 2023/2024 ZLE was on constraint and very few numbers produced. GM really fuk'd the camaro community if you ask me. A lot of owners from camaro social media pages agree with this too. Considering how much most of us paid for these cars, GM should at least make parts available for the next 10-20 years. Can you imagine purchasing a 2024 ZL1 and a few months later you cant even get certain parts for it if you needed it replaced?

Do you have a link you could provide? Thanks!

I don't have to imagine, I did buy a 2024 ZL1, so I guess sooner or later I will find out about parts availabilities, or the lack of.

I'm thinking about coming up with a list of parts that are more apt to wear out or need replacement and buying and storing them for possible future use.

That isn't cheap though, and trying to determine what parts might be needed won't be easy.

In today's custom parts build market nothing is off the table as far as obtainability is concerned. It should be fairly easy to get a lot of this stuff long after GM discontinues it. Especially considering some of these items that GM built were made using 3D printers anyways.

The seat covers are not discontinued. Driver's side is backordered, passenger side GM has stock. But neither are discontinued.
