ZL1 Ram Air Hood?

I'm in the process of doing the grill snorkel and removing the rain/snow blocker behind the upper grill and driver's side headlight, but my question is, does anyone know of a hood insert that directs fresh air onto the engine?

Are you referring to this product?

Typically, proper "ram air" is plumbed to the intake. I'm not sure you'd notice much reduction in temps with a scoop blowing air onto the engine.

The ZL1 already has a heat extractor to remove warm air from under the hood. To reduce underhood temps, your best bet is probably adding additional heat extractors to the hood. Several folks on the forum have added heat extractors to the hood. Some have added to the fenders as well.

The right side pedal?

Sorry could not resist.

But I bet you could print one, either a COWL or somehow duct it up from the grill area. What you thinking? I might be able to draw one up.

Sorry, I'm not following you.

I'm thinking of basically the ZL1 insert with an opening. A good carbon fiber craftsman could modify the stock unit I'm sure.
