Anyone ran this expansion tank

https://www.tickperformance.com/big-...art-b3r-zl1-b/

Looks pretty decent. I like that it has a drain. You could pack with ice in between passes at the track. Wondering how good it works. Tia

It’s sits right over the exhaust and I feel like it will get pretty hot with run time.

One gallon is too small for an ice tank IMO. Probably fine to add to a stock-ish ZL1 and an improvement over the stock ZL1 IC setup but that’s about it. Synergy has a nice fender tank and an even better trunk ice tank with EMP pump.

I understand wanting to make these easy to install, but i agree, this is likely too close to the exhaust manifolds to help at all... I suggest looking into Synergy's 2 gallon fender tank. It's not as easy to install, but provides better capacity and a better location IMO.

This tank WILL NOT fit in stock applications. You HAVE TO have an aftermarket intake in order for it to fit otherwise it will not.

Just figured I'd throw that out there as a heads up as I don't think they advertise that.

This is another good option: https://dedicatedmotorsports.com/ZL1-2GAL/

My installation of it: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=610199

It stays much cooler as it is not in the engine bay.
