30% over injectors from kaytech

Hello quick question since i need to do injectors on my ZL1 I was thinking maybe i should just get a set from kaytech that are 30% more flow.

If I get this set can I run full E85 without getting the HP pump?

Of course I know I would need tuning and the E85 sensor.

EDIT FOR PART

Are you doing a cam (and the associated bigger fuel lobe)? If not, the HPFP may not keep up with the bigger injectors. What other mods have you done?

No no cam just injectors.

The only things I have done are cold air and ported throttle body at this time.

I wouldn’t do +30 injectors unless you’re doing a cam too. And like zinc said, with minimal mods you’re probably fine on full E85 anyway.

Unless you plan on adding beyond 250 whp running 93 octane, stock in injectors will get you there (with other supporting mods on high side/low side).

I'd wait till you do a cam otherwise you aren't going to take advantage of the injectors. When you're ready for the injectors we've got some discounts on these and the FIC 30% injectors too.

Damn I all have heard is that our fuel systems cant flow enough for full E85. Interesting. What exactly upper and lowers are you using?

Can I do the injectors now (30%) since im in there already and then do the rest of the upgrades at a later time? If its possible not to have to buy 2 sets of injectors? Just a question coming from my ignorance on this subject. Thank you.

If you get the FIC +30 Injectors and LPE HPFP then you will be set to run full E85 without doing a cam. Hit up Pray Performance for more details on the setup.

On a Zl1 Lt4? I didnt think 100% E85 was possible on a stock fuel system.

That is also what I was lead to believe "no possible" to run E85!

So what is the bare minimum to do to the ZL1 to run E85?

If you only have intake and ported TB you should be able to run a blend of E. I would not do injectors and LPE HPFP on stock cam. Meth helps the most but not everyone is willing to do it and that's a whole different discussion. If you're using a reputable shop and tuner I would just heed their advice. Here's a good thread on trying LPE HPFP and injectors on stock cam.

There have been a few here and there that were able to pull it off, i was under the same impression as you guys. Even was told by the reputable shop (i asked for a cam install quote) that they'd had no luck tuning for e85 on the LT4
