Exclamation Any converts here from C7 Z06 to ZL1 1LE?

Thoughts?

I am giving up my C7 Z06 in the pursuit of more track robustness and....back seats. Having a toddler - I need my toy to work around my life not the other way around.

Also helps, I can throw track day gear or essentials in the back seat.

I had 2 C7 zo6's and switched to the zl1 1le. I do like the camaro better for various reasons. Including but not limited to overall size comfort, trackability, price point, etc. That being said I do not daily the zle nor do I any of my "fun" cars. If I were to daily, a c7z is great for longer more comfortable drives. If its more of a weekend fun toy with some track days id do the zle. If its a weekend trip cruiser id go c7. However at the price difference, you can do a lot to the zle to tweak it the way you want and still have leftover money.

Got it. I am switching fully aware of what I will be giving up with the Mag ride. This is not daily so I am not worried.

The back seat component is huge for me as I want to enjoy the toy with my kid(s) without having an expensive paper weight sitting around in the garage.

I am having the dealer swap tires to the PS4 before taking delivery so hopefully it will be a little less painful driving home.

As a track guy, the C7 Z06 has it's drawbacks and will require another $12-$20k in investment for cooling alone. I know for a fact in doing that - I will never get my money back if I sell.
