Idea on bypass valves

Ever since seeing Jason's example on leaking bypass valves I've been thinking, were not the only cars out there running these electronic re-circulation valves. A buddy at work has an audi 2.0t and he has some interesting insight on how they fix this. (Also, upon just a quick look at his car seems to have a very similar valve) The audi forums are addressing the same problem and he showed me a thread were they have a part that bolts onto the stock bypass valve. Only the stock 6 hole cylinder is removed and the bottom part that leaks is replaced with a sturdier unit that runs about $130. I'll post up the forum link that explains why newer bypass valves leak. Regardless if it isn't applicable the read is worth it.

We are very close to having something available for you guys, we just haven’t been publicly sharing much for fear of being ripped off.

We have already tried a GFB unit that has been modified to fit the Camaro and it still leaks regardless of what’s claimed.

I am currently running a new prototype on the car that does not leak AT ALL. Within the next couple months it will be released for sale.

Also, does the pcm accommadate for the non leaking valve ?
I would assume so but these things can be finicky.

So are we bypassing the bypass? Sounds like a beautiful Xibit meme and money well spent. Count me in!

Lol, the bypass is still fully functional. Just not leaking. We are working on what will be the final "Pre-production" prototype now. Theoretically we're hoping to have one to Gino for independent testing by the end of next week? Or maybe it's the following week. Anyway, soon. Very soon. We are still testing some different materials for some of the internals, have to get that nailed down, do some longevity testing, road miles, etc, and then it's off to production.
