Love to see someone get there. That car is sick and nasty and sounds amazing.

With 30 psi boost, that motor doesn't go far between rebuilds.

Those HP numbers are entirely possible for Chevy 4 cylinder cars. Some years back, a Chevy Cobalt set the world 1/4 mile drag strip record for a 4 cylinder car running low 6 second ETs. I googled it and found an article on the car but I'm not sure if he's still running it. How does 1850 HP sound?

Yup, back when the import drag racing blew up (early 2000s) GM got into it big time and threw alot of money at developing those turbo4s... The LTG is a direct descendent of that drag racing program; I have a huge write up about the program in my Sport Compact Car mags from that era... Will try to dig up and locate... Remember them running the engine to the breaking point (kept feeding it larger and larger amounts of nos I believe)then they would redesign the part that broke, rebuild and run it again till the next part broke... Can't remember numbers exactly, but remember thinking the engine was WAY tougher than expected and very few parts had to be replaced to make SERIOUS power.
