Chevy needs to react. $599 a month for a Hellcat

I really want a Camaro but need to lease and can't make the numbers work. TBH I am not really interested in a HC because I like a car that understands what a corner is and not interested in 1/4 miles.

But these deals that they have just put out make me think Chevy need to bring in some incentives to make the Camaro a better lease deal. They are not selling at the best of time.

Just thought I would share, the local dealer just called me. Don't have any more details.

Think this is for both the Challenger and Charger. $2999 down 36 month 12K miles

17MY:
$429 Scat Pack
$529 SRT 392
$629 Hellcat

16MY
$399 Scat Pack
$499 SRT 392
$599 Hellcat

So Dodge initially offered a lease on a HC for $7707 down, and $707 a month. Now they are $2999 down, and $599 a month? Do you have this in writing?

That is a lot of car for that price. I just don't like leasing because I want to mess with my car

Well the dealer called me today because 4 months ago I went in to look at one of their cars and mentioned in passing I was interested in the HC if it ever leased well. (This is before I had driven a Camaro)

He called today to tell me about the deal. I then went onto the Hellcat forum and it is posted there as well.

Seems like the Dodge website has been updated as well to reflect it. Lease at 0.3% or something like that. The configurator shows you the price. Be interesting to see how low the payment would go with a discount.

My how times have changed! Hellcats were once in such demand that the dealers were charging premium prices. A web search today shows 30 different Charger/Challenger Hellcat models sitting on lots around the St. Louis area.

It looks like you can actually get them for close to $500 a month with nothing down for a 17! Sub $500 for the 16. Kind of crazy.

I think we will see the same thing happen soon with the Camaro, better residuals and better MF and these things will sell like hotcakes.
