They've updated their site with charge pipe, down pipe and a cold air intake. The intake looks nice, but filter is not protected from heat. Hmm. What's your thoughts?

Charge pipes might be worth looking into. They say they are also working on an upgraded intercooler that the charge pipes will work with.

Yeah, I don't really understand why the intake is open like that. Seems it would be a hot air intake.

Also not a fan of that intake... Also seems pricey for what it is (no enclosure and no direct route for cold air)... Even the stock intake box has a built 'scoop' to direct air into the filter from the front of the car; this seems like a step backwards.

With how hot the stock intake box gets this design doesn't seem wise in my eyes...

Absolutely!! Yeah, I'm in no hurry to do anything, so I'm waiting as long as need be. I believe Jason is working on a cold air intake as well if I remember correctly.

I think he's considering the ingen evolution intake (the closed housing one) I'm also thinking about it... Mind you after seeing that AutoX concept I might hold off a bit longer to see if any of that stuff will come to market; it maybe expensive... But it would also be nice to have more power AND a warranty... That MIGHT satisfy me for a year or two lol

Do have the standard black or the Mosiac black? Just curious...I feel like theres about 4-5 of us on here that need their own 'chat section'... We seem to follow each other around the site

No, no pics yet. I need to figure out how to post pics from my phone. My car is standard black with black interior and RS package. Yes, I love coming to the turbo section and seeing what you guys are saying.

I toy with the idea of a cold air intake when I have time... I did a crude mock up, but haven't had time to mess with it since then.

I spoke with Martin at RPM-Motorsports yesterday on the phone. He seems pretty sure that the charge pipes will work with the Big Mouth throttle body kit I've been working on. I am trying to get a set from him to confirm fitment. I may also be trying out their tuning in the near future.

You didn't by chance as him about the open filter on the intake did ya?

We did not talk about the cold air intake.

I did ask in an email to him today what appx numbers the "Stage 2" kit w/ tuning would be... They advertise the stage 1 tuning as 300hp/330 tq, but no numbers for the stg 2.
Have not heard back yet. Waiting to see if he is going to let me try the charge pipes or not...
